Joy in the most unlikely places
how I've found so much joy in the ordinary
Last week after school drop off I made my way to Sprouts and Trader Joes, I’ve found that going to those stores first thing gets me access to the most in stock items and sometimes at Sprouts there are excellent deals on produce that is nearing it’s “use by…” date.
As I walked around the aisles of Sprouts adding six cans of Kombucha to my cart (yay for BOGO1 free sale!) I realized that I was dancing while pushing my cart. I was so excited about a near empty grocery store, BOGO Kombucha, and new snacks for my littles school lunch (also on BOGO) that I didn’t realize I was bopping all around the store.
While in Sprouts, I texted a few friends about how excited I was walking the aisles of the store early in the morning and I chuckled to myself when I got in the car. I find so much joy in the every day, ordinary moments.
